Maitland Family Support is an early intervention not for profit community organisation that offers support to families in the Maitland LGA and the suburbs of Beresfield and Tarro. Their Service is free and available to families that have children in their care aged between 0-12 yrs and families who are expecting a baby.
Parent Line is a telephone counselling, information and referral service for parents of children ages 0 to 18 who live in New South Wales. Their service includes the Early Childhood Intervention Infoline, providing information and support about concerns about child development, disabilities and developmental delays.
Port Stephens Family and Neighbourhood Services is an incorporated not for profit organisation providing community services in the Port Stephens LGA. They offer support and information services that include Child, Youth & Family Counselling and Casework, Homelessness Services and advice on Crisis Accommodation, Parent’s & Carer’s Groups, Children’s and Young People’s Groups and many more services. Victims of Crime Assistance League (VOCAL) are a trauma-specific service that provides a range of support services and practical advocacy to assist crime victims as they encounter complex challenges, services, legal issues and processes, while assisting them to identify, understand and manage emotions, trauma and its effects.
