The Opportunity

The Board of Family Support Newcastle is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified manager/ leader who will support the ongoing growth and development of FSN – a community based non-government organisation which has supported families in the Hunter Region for 40 years.

With the commitment and support of the Board you will work together with Team Leaders and staff to implement FSN’s mission and values.

The Role

You will provide strong committed leadership with effective planning and promote a progressive, supportive and efficient working environment with a strong value base of inclusivity and doing social justice.  You will work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders including staff, client families and a board which includes service users. You will ensure that FSN engages well within the network of service providers.

Qualifications and Experience

Graduate qualification in relevant degree and at least 5 years’ experience in the community sector, including recent experience in a management role.

Position Hours: Permanent, 30 - 35hrs pw

Total Remuneration Package:  Up to $110,741. Package includes wages ($82,804-$100,680 dependent on hours and experience), superannuation and leave loading.  Additional generous salary packaging is available.  Use of own car is required and compensated.
